Through her Facebook account, the family of Gilberto Valenzuela Gatzem announced the death of the newborn in Sahuaripa Sonora.

It was reported that at 9:25 p.m. this Friday, April 2, it ceased to exist after health problems.

He was born in Sahuaripa, Sonora, Mexico in 1935. Son of Alfonso Valenzuela and Adela Amavizca.

In 1952 he married Aurora Salazar Bretado, daughter of the local deputy for Navojoa in 1935, Miguel Ángel Salazar Ayala.

In 1976 he won the OTI festival with the song “Que te vull et vull”. The hunger for Napoleon, Sergio Esquivel, Maria Medina and Felipe Gil; however, Gilberto succeeded and his fame increased.
