Katie Hill, a former “group” police officer, says she is “depressed” and “upset” by reports that U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz shared nude photos of her sexual conquests with colleagues in the Capitol.
Hill, who was forced to resign in 2019 after leaking photos to the press, tweeted on Saturday that the Gaetz the scandal has her so frightened that she will not leave home.
“The last few days I’ve been depressed, anxious, nauseous, and I didn’t want to leave home or even talk to the people I love,” the former California Democratic congresswoman said on Twitter.
“If you have been the victim of a non-consensual intimate image abuse and you feel the same way, contact CCRI,” Hill wrote. “You are not alone.”
He attached a tweet from the Cyber Civil Rights Initiative, a group formed in 2013 to help victims of revenge pornography.
Hill, who admitted to having threesomes with her husband and a female employee, has blamed the leaking of her emaciated photos on her now estranged husband.
Last year she filed a lawsuit against her ex, Kenny Heslep, and the Daily Mail, which published the photos she said leaked.
Gaetz, a Florida Republican, is being investigated amid recent reports that he organized drug-fueled sex parties with friends and allegedly paid a 17-year-old girl to travel with him through state lines to have sex.
According to reports, the representative has shown obscure images of women with whom he slept with colleagues and friends.
Last week, the New York Times reported that the FBI had interrogated several women who claimed they were paid to have sex with Gaetz.
Gaetz has strongly denied the allegations.
