WINTER BASEBALL – Eastern stars name Fernando Tatis, again, as their manager

The Eastern Stars have named Fernando Tatis as their manager for the 2021-2022 baseball season, club general manager Felix Peguero announced this Sunday through a press office.

Tatis, current vice president of player development and relations with Major League players, thus returns to the position of manager, from which he led the team to win the championship in the 2018-2019 season, his first in these functions.

“With Fernando Tatis returning as manager, we hope to return to the path of success, which we traveled when we were champions, three seasons ago,” said Peguero, in the aforementioned press office.

“Fernando knows better than anyone the interiors of our team. His ability to lead him to success is proven and to have him again as our manager is a giant step, at the beginning of our journey to catch a again the crown of champions, “Peguero stressed.

“The experience I have from working together a couple of seasons ago was fabulous for me,” said Peguero, who then (2019-2020) served as director of operations for the Stars, in the second season of Tatis driving the reins of the team.

“We are talking about a great worker. A dedicated man. Very organized. He instills respect and affection among the players, and throughout our organization,” Peguero noted.
