Monsignor Ozoria deplores unfulfilled promises for those living in misery and without health

The Metropolitan Archbishop of Santo Domingo, Monsignor Francesc Ozoria, officiated Resurrection Sunday Mass at the Primate Cathedral of America, where he deplored the unfulfilled promises that the most needy have.

“To believe in the risen Jesus is to reveal ourselves with all our strength to so many people who have only known in this life misery, humiliation and suffering, which are forgotten forever,” said Monsignor in a temple full of parishioners celebrating the resurrection of Jesus.

He added that “to believe in the resurrected is to approach with hope so many unhealthy people, chronically ill, disabled and people united in depression, tired of hearing promises of change. One day they will know what it is like to live in peace and total health. , you will hear the words of the Father fulfilling his promise to enter forever into the joy of your Lord.

People of different ages, including entire and foreign families filled the church on this Sunday culminating in Holy Week.

This one also counted on the participation of all the members of the choir of the Cathedral, that dressed red and white chanted psalms and songs.

Two nuns filled the Cathedral with joy, shouting, “You do not know what Christ rose from the dead,” and in this way the believers present chanted “Hallelujah Christ rose on Sunday morning” over and over again, as they gave the palms of the hands.
