Agents of the National Guard of Mexico rescued 61 Central American migrants, 33 minors and 28 adults, crammed into a cargo truck located on a road in the Mexican state of New Lion, in the north of the country, the National Institute of Migration (INM).
In addition to overcrowding, people were found with signs of dehydration due to the extreme heat of the region.
In a statement, the INM, dependent on Secretary (Ministries) of Governance, specify that among the foreigners a minor was identified Salvadoran unaccompanied, a senior woman with two minors of Guatemalan nationality and 57 Honduran people, including 30 minors.
