A video of the Cuban celebrations in Bayamo for Granma’s victory at the 60th National Baseball Series, at the heart of “listen, police, pine ***,” it’s rolling like wildfire on social media.

While it was not a proper demonstration against the police, many Cubans have seen it as a show of courage and as a hope that the people can unite and take to the streets to peacefully demand that their rights be respected. .
The choir gained special significance in the midst of a weekend marked by repression in Cuba, mainly in Santiago de Cuba, where members of the Patriotic Union of Cuba remain on hunger strike and in a delicate state, and in Havana. where residents of St. Isidore prevented police from arresting Maykel “Osorbo” Castle and then sang out loud the theme Homeland and Life in the middle of the street.
