Arturo Illes, Activist for the protection and respect of animals, charged against Eugenio Derbez, Since the comedian was one of the main ones in supporting that the animals were prohibited in the circuses, causing with it that several were left without help or in abandonment. Faced with this scenario, the producer also cataloged a Eugenio Derbez as an ignoramus. Besides that he invited him to that help the animals that have suffered from the decision that started from a political issue.
In an interview with First Hand, Arturo Illes expressed his displeasure against Eugenio Derbez, since from his point of view the comedian is only concerned with the reforms, but not with the financial donations needed by the animals rescued from the said show.
And is that recently, the activist with the help of Mr. Tempo rescued an elephant -Big boy- who was in poor condition after being ‘rejected’ from a circus show. According to Islands, Eugenio Derbez only occupied the law -came into force in 2015- which bans animals in circuses to promote themselves, as it has not done anything so that the animals readjust and have a better life.
“There was a law that banned circuses with animals, but there was no one that protected these animals; and there were personalities involved like a Eugenio Derbez who speak from ignorance.” said the activist.

Faced with this scenario, he called for Eugenio Derbez to change his perspective and “deposit a fair” to help animals that are in abandonment. He even invited him to visit the recently rescued elephant.
“They are worth it mother, Eugene … they follow their lives. Deposit us a fair, because they promoted one law, without promoting the other that protects them. Don’t be ignorant, because ignorance is what is killing us.” charged Arthur Islands.

So far, Eugenio Derbez has not responded to the remarks. However, he is not the only celebrity pointed out by the activist, as he also accused Luisito Comunica of promoting himself when talking about animal protection.
