Woman with the longest nails in the world will cut them after almost 30 years

Guinness World Records (GWR), in collaboration with Ripley’s Believe it or Not !, unveiled new measures for the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS record title ™ of the longest nails in a pair of hands ( female) with 733.55 centimeters (24 feet 0.7 inches), in the hands of Ayanna Williams.

After cultivating it for nearly three decades, the Texas native and holder of this record title cut her iconic nails to embark on a new chapter in her life.

World record authority partnered with Ripley’s Believe It or Not! according to the final measurement of Ayanna’s nails before her cutting procedure in Fort Worth, TX, USA. UU.

Her nails, which broke a record, are now immortalized with the title of the updated record and the new display at Ripley’s Believe It or Not! Orlando Odditorium.

When asked about her nail display at Ripley’s, Ayanna explained, “It will feel like it’s a wax of my own. Even if it’s just my nails, it’ll be amazing. I can’t wait to see this. … Guinness World Records and Ripley ‘s Believe It or Not! Are dedicated to that. I’d rather have them than anyone else. And one thing, it’s history for my kids and grandchildren. It’s very exciting! “

Ayanna, who felt mixed emotions for cutting her nails, first won the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS record title in 2017, when her nails reached a total of 576.4 centimeters, in both hands.

Here are the photos of how the nails looked and the cutting process:

Prior to the emotional procedure, Dra. Allison Readinger, a certified dermatologist, measured her nails and found that they had grown substantially since the 2017 record title certification.

Ayanna’s nails reached an incredible 338.5 centimeters in her right hand and 395.05 centimeters in her left hand, bringing the total length of her nails to 733.55 centimeters. After the cut, Ayanna expressed instant relief in her thumb and knuckles.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! will preserve and exhibit these nails, officially certified by Guinness World Records, to honor Ayanna’s incredible efforts and inspire generations to visit the exhibition, starting Friday, April 9th.

She is encouraging him to come in longer nail enthusiast to make history and look for a record title. “Do what you want to do! Let them all be themselves. If you want your nails to grow, do it!” Adds Ayanna.
