A South Florida doctor who died after the vaccine died of natural causes

MIAMI BEACH, Fla. – A Miami Beach doctor who died about two weeks after getting Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine died in a way that has been classified as natural.

An official at the forensic office said Dr. Gregory Michael died from an illness that can cause internal bleeding and that there is no medical certainty that the shooting caused the disorder.

Michael’s death in January was investigated by the Florida Department of Health and the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Samples of an autopsy were sent to the CDC.

The research team concluded that the 56-year-old boy died from complications of immune thrombocytopenia, also known as ITP.

A Facebook post of Michael’s wife shortly after his death described him as “very healthy.”

His website states that he was in private obstetrics and gynecology consultation at Mount Sinai Medical Center and received the vaccine at the hospital where he was affiliated on December 18th.

According to his website, he was an avid tournament and big game fisherman and also a certified rescue diver.

His wife said that three days after receiving the shot, Michael noticed severe ruptures of blood vessels in his feet and hands, prompting him to go to the emergency room.

There he was diagnosed immune thrombocytopenia, which prevents blood from clotting.

According to his wife’s Facebook post, after two weeks of treatment, Michael had a hemorrhagic stroke caused by a lack of platelets, which ended his life in a matter of minutes.

She said her husband was defending the vaccine.

A Mount Sinai spokesman, who cited patient privacy restrictions, said in a statement at the time:

“To the extent that we become aware of an incident related to a patient, we immediately contact the appropriate agencies and cooperate fully.”
