“We know the danger”

Grandmother Maria Elena, originally from Santa Barbara, Honduras, travels with her three grandchildren between the ages of five and eight.

Maria Elena relates that four months ago her daughter died and took care of her three grandchildren, with whom she had to to flee because they tried to kill her.

“I hope to find what we don’t have in Honduras, I will fight for my grandchildren to have a better future,” the woman points out.
