Yesterday they gave us a new Nintendo Indie world showcase, which gave us a look at some of the brightest independent games to be released on Switch.
More than 20 games were shown in what appeared to be a particularly strong presentation. If you missed it or just want to keep track of everything that was advertised, we show you below.

Highway 96

Five years after the OXENFREE events, Riley returns to his hometown of Camena to investigate mysterious radio frequency signals that cause curious disturbances. OXENFREE II: Lost Signals arrives on Nintendo Switch in 2021.

OlliOlli World

The new entry in bold al OlliOlli the series is already here! In OlliOlli World, rip through the streets of Radland and seek out the mystical gods of skateboarding in this platform game. With extremely tight controls and a level design that flows with your combos, you’ll have tricks to master, meet colorful characters, and discover the hidden secrets of this living, vibrant world. OlliOlli World launches Nintendo Switch this winter.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

With a mix of retro and modern imagery, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge finds the four favorite turtles by throwing a serious shell into the classic arcade-style beat-em-up action. Up to four players can play locally or online in this fun game developed by Tribute Games and published by Dotemu, which also released Streets of Rage 4 and Wonder Boy: The Dragon’s Trap. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will be released on Nintendo Switch later this year.

Longing

With a beautiful hand-drawn artistic style and an intriguing story, The Longing is different from anything you’ve played before. The big twist: you don’t really have to play to see how it ends. But that doesn’t mean you have to stand idly by. As the main character Shade, you have to wait 400 days for your king to wake up. While you wait, you can explore dark caves, complete time-based puzzles, and collect objects.

Retrospective and last stop

Developer Joel McDonald’s Perspective is a poignant narrative game about an elderly woman who remembers her family. The objects of his past serve as portals to long-lost memories, revealing a decision that changed his life forever. Learn more when Hindsight launches Nintendo Switch this year.
Developer Variable State’s latest stop is a single-player third-person adventure set in present-day London, where you play three separate characters whose worlds collide amid a supernatural crisis. Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield

This is not your typical “runner” game. Run, jump, slide and slide through a futuristic Tokyo-style Detroit to a shocking soundtrack starring Wally to save what’s left of the future. Aerial_Knight’s Never Yield slides on Nintendo Switch on the 19thth May. A demo will be available today at the Nintendo eShop.

Beasts of Wonder Island

The house of the dead: remake
