Un family trip ended in tragedy after the father drowned trying to save his children.
This is Josh Graham, An American who died last April 10 trying to put out of danger two of his three children, who were being dragged by the tide of Surfside Beach, A city located in the state of Texas, in United States.
According to Angela Morel Graham, Josh’s wife, the family was celebrating his eldest son’s 13th birthday.

When the father realized what was happening, he started running and shouting at the minors who were swimming in the sea.
“I when I saw what was happening shouted for help and at that moment the panic was for the children, he went into the water and like any father, he was willing to give his life for his children“Morel told Univision.
As he relates, to the man it was hard for him to charge the two little ones to take them to the edge of the beach and put them out of danger. Witnesses tried to help and a good Samaritan entered the water to help, but it was not enough.
“A man came in with two pieces of lifebuoy, Josh here made the decision to sacrifice his life, by telling the man to take the children“Morel said.

After the little ones were put out of danger, other people tried to help Josh, but it was too late. The loving father was pulled out of the water and an ambulance picked him up to take him to a nearby hospital, however, on the way they tried to resuscitate him — but he was declared dead.
“The love of my life, my soul mate, the best father for my son and my stepchildren died like a hero saving our older children from drowning in a quagmire on Surfside Beach“The woman said.

The family of the heroic man opened a campaign in GoFundMe with the aim of raising money to pay for the funeral expenses, among other things. The goal is to raise $ 40,000, and so far, more than $ 32,000 has been raised.
