The water supply of Sant Vicenç is declining amid eruptions of volcanoes – photos

There is a “chronic water shortage” in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines as La Soufrière volcano continues to erupt, government spokesman Sehon Marshall told a local radio station on Tuesday.

The big picture: As many as 20,000 people have been evacuated from the northern region of the Caribbean island since the volcano began erupting there last Friday, by AP. More than 3,000 evacuees are housed in more than 80 government shelters.
