Aaron Donald was right the whole time. His accuser has now admitted it.
After alleging the Rams star defensive attack injured him in a fight Sunday morning at a Pittsburgh club, DeVincent Spriggs has come forward and said the opposite.
“I wanted to make this statement public. And to apologize to Aaron for what happened, but I know clearly it wasn’t him, ”his lawyer, Todd Hollis, said in a statement to KDKA.
Spriggs suffered injuries in the fight and earlier said it was Donald who injured him. However, security footage did not show Donald attacking him. Donald’s defense attorney Casey White said Spriggs started the fight and Donald came to his rescue by breaking it.
“Mr. Spriggs should send Aaron a thank you card, “White told KDKA.
