Florida nurse arrested, accused of threatening to kill Harris

A Florida nurse was arrested this week after authorities said she allegedly threatened to kill Vice President Harris.

A criminal complaint filed against her states that Niviane Petit Phelps made multiple threats against Harris that were allegedly sent using a computer application to the nurse’s husband, who is in prison, NBC 6 reported.

The messages appeared in the form of videos where Phelps allegedly made a fight against Harris and claimed he was being paid to kill the vice president.

“I go to the gun gate, just up my ass, until you leave the chair,” Phelps supposedly said in another clip.

SSpecial Agent David Ballenger was informed of the threats in early March and assigned to a secret service agent, CNN reported.

Phelps is accused of making threats against the vice president.

Heroeia Petit, Phelps’ mother, told the local dam that she expects the charges to be dropped because her daughter is “sick” and “doesn’t even know what she’s doing.”

“Don’t punish her … because she listened to what people tell her,” Petit said. “She is desperate. She has nothing to do. Her husband has been in prison for ten years, two children. The house lost everything.”

Jackson Health, where Phelps has worked since 2001, said she was suspended without pay until their termination could end.

A Phelps public defender did not immediately respond to CNN’s request for comment.
