A buyer has shared a funny response to an unexpected discovery in his Woolworths grocery order.
The Australian man was surprised to find a box of Cadbury Crunchie ice cream that had already been opened before being delivered to his home.
Worse, one of the ice creams was missing, prompting him to happily share his situation on Twitter under the handle, @joshystuart.
Inspired by Liam Neeson’s iconic action box office slogan, Taken, the client suggested his ice cream had been taken hostage and demanded his safe return.

“I ordered groceries from Woolworths and saw that one of my Crunchie ice creams was missing.” he tweeted.
‘If you return it now, this will be the end. I will not look for you. I will not persecute you. But if you don’t, I’ll find you …
The original quote, referring to the kidnapping of Neeson’s daughter on screen, says:
“If you let go of my daughter now, that’s over.”
I will not look for you, I will not chase you. But if you don’t, I’ll look for you, find you and kill you. ‘

A Woolworths representative responded with an equally funny apology, offering him a full refund.
“Oh no, we’re sorry to see that some of the Crunchie ice creams are missing,” the rep wrote.
‘We hope no one holds them hostage, as we can tell you to enjoy them.
“We may not be able to help with the rescue, but we would like to see if we can arrange a refund.”
The buyer and Woolworths have exchanged details to arrange a refund.
