MLB The Show 21 Players love the surprise feature

MLB The Show 21 has come out today in early access for those who bought the Jackie Robinson edition of the game on PlayStation and Xbox. As such, players are just beginning to sink their teeth into what this year’s game iteration offers. And while sports games may have a bad reputation for being the same old game every year, it seems so. MLB The Show 21 has added a small feature to which many longtime fans are already receptive.

This new feature in question is the mastery of all things. In the past, whenever I hit a home run on one MLB The Show game, if you wanted to give additional details about the distance you have to the ball and the starting speed of the bat, you will have to pause the game and go look at the information in the replay section. For online matches, this can sometimes be especially annoying, as you should stop the game on your opponent. Luckily, Sony San Diego has added a very small improvement in quality of life to MLB The Show 21 this now provides you with this data when the actual test occurs.

It may seem like an insignificant adjustment in the grand scheme of things, but many MLB The Show 21 players are already thrilled to see this happen. A post on Reddit, which you can find above, was filled with responses from many players pleased to see that it had been added to this year’s edition. One user described him as a “big W,” while others said his incorporation will no longer look like he’s trolling an opponent online, stopping the game after a home run to watch the play.

While MLB The Show 21 it may already be available to some, the game will be fully released next week on April 20th. This year, the game will also be released on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X platforms. It will also be the first day it will be incorporated into Xbox Game Pass next week.
