According to an eagle-eyed DK enthusiast and Twitter user BlueCatBanjo73, Nintendo has updated the file Mario Party DS render (which also appeared in Mario Kart Tour) of Diddy Kong, and as you can see in the pictures below, he now has life-like skin on all his arms, legs, tail, and face.
What is the reason for this update? While no one really knows, some theories relate it to a new Mario Party game, while others expect it to be a sign that the Donkey Kong series is finally back.
