Last week, a firmware update for LEGO Super Mario (yes, plastic bricks now have firmware, people) caused the red plumber to start calling his slimmer brother’s name. You didn’t have to be a Mensa candidate to understand that there was a set of Luigi on the way, but a listing on Amazon China has already revealed it all (thanks, Nintendo Everything).
As the LEGO site The Brick Fan saw, LEGO Super Mario Adventures with Luigi (game number 71387) features a lily lily Luigi very similar to the interactive figure of Mario talking, with Bluetooth connectivity and small screens that allow your eyes and mouth to animate and interact with various pieces and enemies included in the different sets .
The new set includes several figures, including a beautiful pink Yoshi, and will interact with all existing LEGO Super Mario sets. According to the list, this set of LEGO Luigi will be released on July 9, so we will be watching the chips in the West and more information over the next few days and weeks.
