According to Daily Mail sources, Louise will inherit the dark green aluminum and steel carriage that the Duke of Edinburgh ordered to be made eight years ago following very precise instructions along with a pair of Fell ponies called Balmoral Nevis and Notlaw Storm, for whom the dead felt a great inclination.
The two animals starred in one of the most emotional moments at the funeral of Elizabeth II’s husband last Saturday when she appeared on the grounds of Windsor Castle pulling her owner’s favorite carriage. In his seat had been placed his driving cap, his gloves, his blanket, and even the plastic container with the red lid in which he kept the lumps of sugar which he gave to his ponies as a reward.
