Apple has just announced Apple AirTag after months of rumors and speculation about the product. The Apple Airtag will be a small device that users can put in their suitcase or attach to wallets and other belongings. These belongings can be constantly monitored using the Apple Find My app.
The AirTag has a circular design, unlike the Samsung Galaxy SmartTags which offer similar functionality. It has a built-in speaker, an accelerometer, Bluetooth LE and a user-replaceable battery. The device can be attached to different objects and will also have a keychain with a small leather bag that can fit the AirTag.

The Apple AirTag will run through the Apple Find My network. Using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or any other device, AirTag users will be able to easily locate their belongings. The company has stated that the AirTag tracker will provide full battery life for an entire year.
Apple AirTag does not record location data or device history and uses end-to-end encryption for communications between an AirTag and the Find My network.
Prices and availability
Apple AirTags will be available starting at $ 29. Users who purchase a package of four AirTags will have to pay only $ 99. Pre-orders for Apple AirTag will begin this Friday.
