TEGUCIGALPA, Honduras.- The candidate of him Freedom and Refoundation party (Free), Xiomara Castro de ZelayaHe clarified on Monday that it was “up to her to lead the alliance”.
The former wrote in a tweet where he showed his firm stance not to cede the candidacy for the presidency in case of sealing the union with the Liberal Party.
“In intense dialogue with Yani Rosenthal, And based on my results, I argued that it is up to me to lead the alliance. He asked for time. I will stand firm in that I have to be the candidate. The technical teams will deal with other issues that we do agree on, Monday, “Castro wrote.

A few hours earlier the former lady admitted that in the first approach with the mattress party candidate there is still “no alliance for president”.
“The issue of the head of the alliance has not yet reached an agreement. The next meeting will discuss who will lead the alliance,” said the politician, who in turn reported that the second meeting was scheduled for Monday 26.
The two candidates made it clear that if an alliance was reached, it would only be done at the municipal and presidential level, although they did not give further details on the issue.

The meeting was promoted by Xiomara Castro de Zalaya just minutes after the National Electoral Council (CNE) would make it official as the winner of the primary elections of the Freedom and Refoundation party (Free).
Salvador Nasralla and Luis Zelaya were invited to the meeting, but only the Liberal candidate, Yani Rosenthal, attended accompanied by several leaders of the red-white-red flag body.
The meeting was also attended by former presidential candidates of the Free Party, Nelson Avila and Wilfredo Mendez, who said they would sign the “alliance of honesty.”
