They flatten properties in Courteous and Copán against ironheads of the extraditable Martin Adolph Diaz

Copán, Honduras.

This Wednesday they launched 14 home violations coordinated by the Special Prosecutor’s Office Against Organized Crime (Fescco) and the Directorate for the Fight Against Drug Trafficking (Dlcn) with the aim of dismantling a criminal structure dedicated to international drug trafficking, allegedly led by the recently extradited Martín Adolfo Díaz Contreras.

It was reported that 12 of the home violations take place in the municipality of Paradise, Copán, and two to San Pedro Sula, Cortés, From where Díaz Contreras’ ringleaders continued to operate in the cocaine traffic to the United States.

Detectives from the Anti-Drug Trafficking Directorate conducted inspections of luxury properties in order to find clues related to drug trafficking and money laundering. The Public Ministry (MP) Reported that infringing catches and arrests could also be recorded according to the findings.

Martín Adolfo Díaz Contreras was captured last April 10th by police units in the municipality of Gracias, Lempira, western Honduras, following an extradition order received by the Secretary of Foreign Affairs and then confirmed by the judiciary.

The request for seizure and transfer was derived from the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, USA, for two conspiracy offenses related to the transit, distribution, and manufacture of five kilograms or more of cocaine.
