Vincent Janssen is out due to injury and will reveal recovery time

Injuries continue at the Monterrey Stripes and it is now Vincent Janssen who has been sidelined, so he will miss the next duels of the 2021 Opening, starting with the match against Chivas de Guadalajara.

Through an official statement, the Rayados reported that “el Toro” Janssen presented with pubalgia, so he will undergo surgery in the city of Los Angeles, California, in the coming days.

Although the recovery time will depend on the evolution of the Dutch striker, Monterrey reported that he is estimated to be off the tracks for about six weeks, so he would reappear by early October.

“The Monterrey Rayados Football Club reports that player Vincent Janssen will undergo a surgical procedure in Los Angeles, California for his suffering from pubalgia. The recovery time is estimated to be approximately six weeks.”

In addition to the match against the Chivas this weekend, Vincent Janssen will not be available for the duels against xolos of Tijuana, Atlas, the Regio Classic against Tigres, Toluca and Santos Laguna.

Janssen will also not be in the return leg of the Concachampions semifinals, against the Blue Cross, and is expected to return to activity for the match against the Braves de Juárez.
