The next Saints Row The game will be officially unveiled next week and based on the few details revealed so far, is a completely new game, not a remake, and in fact (possibly) is a complete reboot of the popular open world franchise.

Geoff Keighley caused the new for the first time Saints Row restart via a tweet on August 2nd0, implying that it will be fully revealed during Gamescom Opening Night Live. Shortly afterwards, the officer Saints Row The Twitter account started tweeting about the new game. Later Saints Row website, the place has the image of a graffiti-covered brick wall and the word “Restart” is pasted next to a white lily flower also known as the symbol you see in every game.

For the last 24 hours or so, the officer Saints Row The Twitter account has been busy responding to basically all the fans who respond to it, which I guess is good, but it also looks tired. Some details have been shared through these responses. By a, this is not a reboot or a remastered version of a previously released game. In fact, Saints Row volition devs currently they have no plans to do more remasterings.

Another little detail I saw is that it probably has nothing to do with it Mayhem agents, based on a tweet where the official account says it will take more than the reception of this game to kill Saints Row. For those who don’t know, AoM was an open world action game that focused on super powerful agents of a futuristic city and has been defined in one of the timelines created at the end of Gat out of Hell, a spin-off Saints Row game where Cat goes to hell to save his head and is set up after the events of Saints Row IV, where the Earth is exploited.

Yes, I understand why this whole series needs to be restarted. Things are a little tricky!

First we knew how to talk about a new one Saints Row game in 2019, when it was confirmed that Volition was working on the next title in the series. The last major game released in the franchise was in 2013 Saints Row IV.

For those excited about a new one Saints Row game, and I am one of those people, the revelation will happen during Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25th at 11 a.m. PT / 2 p.m. ET.
