New information is scheduled to be revealed for King of Fighters 15 on August 25 during gamescom 2021. SNK specifically said there was “information” to reveal, not just a character.
Still, it looks like after all we shouldn’t have to wait until August 25th. A leak from a Japanese online store has revealed a lot of new characters and the release date of King of Fighters 15. There are possible spoilers on unannounced content for King of Fighters 15 content beyond this point.
According to screenshots, it looks like Ash Crimson and Heidern will be announced soon in the upcoming King of Fighters title. Like those of the Orochi team, it seems that Ash is making his big comeback in the series after the events that unfolded in King of Fighters 14.
Depending on their position in the filtered visual, there is a strong possibility that Ash and Heidern will join K ‘in this iteration. On the opposite side, we can see Kyo, Iori and Chizuru, three fighters who also officially join the series for the first time.
There are three more characters in the picture that cannot be easily identified. Of those three, two seem to reach the franchise.
One of the unknown females has dark or brown skin, sunglasses, earrings and blonde braided hair with hints of purple dye. The other woman wears a hat over her white and blue hair and a yellow jacket where she hides her hands in her pockets.
It should be noted that the girl in the yellow jacket has two purple hands levitating beside her. This seems to suggest that this mysterious character has some connection to Verse, the final boss of King of Fighters 14.
Finally, a hooded figure is seen in the background of the image. It’s not entirely clear who he is, but there’s a possibility that he may be Igniz, or maybe someone connected to Igniz.
Igniz was the final boss and main antagonist of King of Fighters 2001. Although Igniz died at one point in the history of King of Fighters, he, like many others, may have been revived as a direct result of the defeat of Verse at the end of the 14th main entrance.
Finally, there seems to be a screenshot of Ash circulating in the game and supporting the credibility of this rumor. At the bottom of the image, it is revealed that King of Fighters 15 is scheduled for the February 17, 2022 release date.
Remember to take all rumors with a grain of salt until they are confirmed or officially confirmed.
