DALLAS – Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott has pondered the work of Mexican offensive lineman Isaac Alarcón since arriving at last year’s preseason camp.
Prescott, like head coach Mike McCarthy, has reiterated that Alarcón works 100 percent every day, on and off the field, and that his attitude is always the best.
This time, Prescott also applauded the motivation that “Isaac the Great” showed in a conversation aired on HBO’s Hard Knocks program with the closed wing of the Arizona Cardinals, Bernhard Seikovit.
“I think it was amazing the way Isaac spoke and what he said to the other international Cardinals guy,” Prescott mentioned in an interview with a satellite radio station on Friday afternoon.
Seikovit is a native of Arizona and came to the Cardinals this year as part of the NFL’s International Pathways program, as Alarcón did with the Cowboys in 2020.
“All the players who are here played college football (in the United States), except us,” Seikovits told Alarcón at the end of the preseason game.
“Don’t worry. God brought us here,” Alarcón replied. “It’s cute, be brave. Feel the adrenaline of being here.”
Alarcón has played in the Cowboys’ first two preseason games; his first games since 2019, when he was part of the Borregos de la Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico.
