The Baltimore Ravens came out of their second week preseason contest with the Carolina Panthers relatively injury-free. Still, the team watched as winger LJ Fort left the game in the first half with a knee injury.
After the game, head coach John Harbaugh did an upgrade for Fort, and it was pretty macabre.

With Harbaugh saying Fort’s injury doesn’t look good, he raises multiple questions. Many wonder how many weeks or months it would keep off the scoreboard, how the team would replace the defensive and special production of the teams and more. If Fort is away from home for a long time, Baltimore would lose a great collaborator and a leader, which would be a big blow to the team.
There will probably be an update on Fort’s status in the coming days, but for now, things don’t look promising. The veteran’s absence would open up more opportunities for players like Malik Harrison, Chris Board, Otaro Alaka and Kristian Welch.
