Guatemalan authorities on Sunday handed over their Honduran counterparts to an alleged Honduran drug trafficker, cousin of members of the Vall Vall cartel, who are facing trial in United States to introduce drugs into this country, an official source told Tegucigalpa.

Against the man, 65, he was hanging a arrest warrant, even internationally, since February 2019, for the crime of money laundering, he added.

The defendant, who was handed over to Tegucigalpa to the Honduran authorities, he will be sent to a court with national jurisdiction, which issued the order for his capture, Gomez said.
