A Pokémon Sword and Shield The Nintendo Switch player managed to knock down Leon in the game with a rather funny team: the crew of Ash Ketchum from the Alola region. Reddit user ShinjisOP shared an impressive picture of his championship team, which includes Pikachu, Melmetal, Rowlett, Incineroar, Lycanroc and Naganadel. The Pallet Town hero always had a bit of history when it came to winning it all, often taking defeat by the jaws of victory. At least, that was the norm until his Alola team managed to do the unstoppable, eventually turning Ash into a Pokemon League champion. Clearly, this team can also work well in games.

When the players beat Leon Sword and Shield Pokémon, the game’s home screen changes to show the team that defeated league champion Galar. Having Ash’s crew on the home screen when the player starts is a neat touch, which probably wouldn’t matter to many anime fans. Unfortunately, there are still many Pokémon that cannot be transferred Sword and shield however, fans who would like to replicate it with Ash teams from other seasons may not be lucky. For example, the Ash team of the Diamond and pearl the stations would not be possible.
Ash’s anime teams have been a bit mixed from season to season; some fans have argued that Ash’s team in Kalos deserved a championship victory, despite how things ended. Few fans would argue that Ash deserved the victory at Kanto. It’s interesting to see how much the character has changed and how their teams have evolved over the years. Different fans have affinity for different seasons, but Ash’s victory over Alola will likely make him one of the fans ’favorites for years to come.
