A group of South Florida doctors left their hospital Monday to protest the increase in COVID-19 hospitalizations among the unvaccinated.
Doctors came out just before sunrise in an effort to encourage residents to take the COVID-19 vaccine, saying they are tired of working so hard during the last wave.

“We are exhausted. Our patience and resources are dwindling and we need your help, “Dr. Rupesh Dharia of Palm Beach Internal Medicine told NBC 8.
The outbreak in Florida, which consists primarily of the most infectious Delta variant, has become one of the worst in the country.

Florida lost five police officers to the virus last week, including a 27-year-old woman.
A Florida mother lost her two children to the virus in 24 hours and now urges everyone to get the vaccine.
