Alyssa Milano says her uncle has “life support” and “has a long way to go,” less than a week after suffering a heart attack while driving with her.
The 48-year-old actress-activist went to TikTok on Monday after she and her uncle Mitchell J. Carp were involved in a Aug. 17 traffic accident on a Los Angeles freeway that occurred after having a heart attack behind the wheel of a 2020 Ford Edge SUV.
“Uncle Mitch is still in and out of consciousness; he has life support,” Milano said in a clip on the social media site. “My brother went there yesterday and made him old, and his whole body started to move. So he loved it.”

I am grateful to the people who stopped by to help us. I can never thank them enough for the car and the attention they paid to him and me, along with the first assistants, doctors, nurses, and staff at UCLA Medical Center.
Milano continued: “Uncle Mitch is such an important part of our family. He is with us every day, spends time with my children and is present in every significant part of our lives. He is still in the hospital and we don’t know if he will recover. “
He also urged followers to get CPR certification in case of an emergency.
