Nintendo of Europe has announced that its My Nintendo brand is partnering with LEGO VIP to offer fans new ways to explore the growing world of Super Mario-themed LEGO.
For anyone who doesn’t know, LEGO VIP is a free loyalty program that offers rewards when you shop directly from the LEGO website or stores. Once you sign up, you can start earning points that will allow you to earn exclusive rewards and coupon codes; in many ways, it is very similar to Nintendo’s My Nintendo Rewards program.
To celebrate the partnership, Nintendo will be giving away a LEGO Mario keychain on its My Nintendo website; you will need to deliver 400 of your Platinum Points to claim one, and then pay for shipping (those in the UK can add it to a My Nintendo Store order to combine shipping with other products). If you also use LEGO VIP, you can spend points on it to receive a matching LEGO Luigi keychain and digital wallpaper.

Finally, if you’re interested, you can also choose to spend your Platinum Points on a raffle to win a set of special golden LEGO Mario and Luigi keys, the Adventures with Mario Initiation Course, the Adventures with Luigi Initiation Course, and the Bowser airship expansion set. This is not a bad thing at all.
