After waiting for what feels like an eternity, SNK finally showed what really looks like The King of Fighters 15 in motion with its mechanics and interface, but certainly this is not the only thing Gamescom fans expected.
The other big star of the event for many was the fact that Ash Crimson would return to the initial lineup of KOF15 and the developers have released the first screenshots of how the previous protagonist will appear in the matches.
Two of the four new screens are dedicated to Ash, with the first appearing to be the start of his Germinal Super or another with eye-catching animation.
Number two simply launches its Ventose projectile, but it also gives us the best look at Ash’s complete redesign with its longer coats and boots.
The others are dedicated to showing Iori, Yashiro, Athena and Mai, where it is also good to see better the effects and the updated user interface of the game.
If you’ve been paying attention to the news lately, you probably recognize Ash’s first shot and two of the others leaked alongside the KOF15 boxart, but they were of very low quality.
It’s good to see them again now in HD, as well as a different plan from Mr. Crimson that I don’t think leaked before.
Unless there is a beta version in our future, we will wait a little longer to take a look at the new Ash, as The King of Fighters 15 is scheduled to be released on February 17, 2022.
