Atletico Madrid midfielder Héctor Herrera is interested in Roma, a club that evaluates ideas for the second third of the court and sees the 31-year-old Mexican as a good option in case they have an outlet in the present transfer market.
According to the Italian press, both clubs have had contacts and there was talk of a possible inclusion of Spaniard Gonzalo Villar in negotiation, but the talks are not advanced.
Hailing from FC Porto, the club in which he was captain, Héctor Herrera arrived at Atletico Madrid for the 2019-20 season and played 21 games, 12 of them as a starter, while in the campaign previous, which resulted in a league championship for the Mattresses, he played 16 duels, with half of them from the start.
