Last summer we all fell in love Ted Lasso. A show centered on an American football coach heading to England to coach the fictional AFC Richmond football team, we were all captivated by Ted’s dizzying optimism and his willingness to do whatever it took to make Richmond the best team they could be. It also helps that Ted Lasso is just the sun wrapped in Jason Sudeikis with a mustache.
Ted Lasso, on the surface, looks like a very sweet and innocent soul. Just a beam of joy that radiates to everyone you know. But he could also be radiating something more to people (by consensus) if his latest tweet has something to say about it. (Yes, Ted Lasso chirps.)
Following the success of the program of the same name on Apple TV +, Ted Lasso’s character has a Twitter account where he shares messages of hope, tells us to believe and lets us all know that Ted Lasso loves eat out … wait, what ?!
I love eating out. Especially in the Ol ‘Crown and Anchor. Eating out is good for the soul.

Um … Ted …
Now, if it was the first time we’d met Ted, I think he would just write that tweet without thinking about it, but knowing that Lasso has play (in the field and I guess in the bedroom), I think Ted Lasso knew exactly what he was doing when he did a tweet that he loves eat out.
We all think the same thing, right? He does have a mustache …

Beyond that, Ted here also refers to a viral critique of his program and a hilarious response to it. A Twitter thread appeared, covering our Princess Weeks, saying it was time for us all to admit it. Ted Lasso not good. It’s a thread that a man puts on his thoughts about the program for everyone instead of admitting to yourself that you don’t like the program, but that’s another topic. What Ted here seems to be subtweeting is this thread, through a response from communications and public policy executive Carol Blymire.

In the context of Ted Lasso, this tweet refers directly to Brett Goldstein’s Roy Kent going to town in Keeley Jones (Temple Juno) when he admits he likes it when he’s vulnerable. In the second season, Roy finds that Keeley is pleased with a video, which he is afraid to show him, but when he finally does, he is seen crying after admitting that he was retiring from football.
Keeley explains why she loved the opener and the excitement she had and how she found it to be an activation even though Roy thought it was weak. Throughout the episode, however, the two continue to have a conversation about it until the end of the episode, when Roy gives Keeley’s headphones with his speech and gets on his knees in front of her. Now, it seems like Ted’s official account wants us to know he’s aware of it Ted Lasso speech i he wants us all to know that he and Roy Kent have a lot in common.
So here’s what we know: Ted Lasso f *** sia Ted Lasso likes to eat out. We have a legend. Maybe DJ Khaled can take a lesson from Ted, because men really like to eat out (in a pub where people give him a lot of shit for his coaching techniques).
Even without this tweet (and the subtext or, I guess, text? Saying “I love to eat out” isn’t exactly subtle), we knew Ted Lasso loves and respects women. And … well, here’s the thing … we know he sure does because he slept with Rebecca Flo’s best friend on “Make Rebecca Great Again.”
He combines this with his constant, handsome flirtation with Rebecca and how I just want them to distinguish him, and it makes perfect sense for Ted Lasso to know what he was doing … in a restaurant.
So keep in mind that Ted Lasso eats (in restaurants) with you while you continue to watch the second season of Ted Lasso, and perhaps men can continue to receive advice from Ted and Roy Kent (who for SURE also love a good dining situation, as we well know).
