Travis Barker and Kourtney Kardashian fly to Italy for vacation

Travis Barker is conquering his fears.

After avoiding air travel for more than a decade after his fatal crash in 2008, the Blink-182 battery has taken its second flight in a month and is heading to Italy for a holiday with its friend Kourtney Kardashian.

By TMZ, Barker and Kardashian were spending Friday at a beach in San Fruttuoso, a small town in Genoa. While the couple has turned the combined family outings as a hallmark of their relationship, it looks like they are not kids for that particular outing.

Barker, 45, was photographed on a plane with Kourtney, 42, her mother, Kris Jenner, and Corey Gamble for a group vacation in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, earlier this month. . Shortly afterwards, he credited Kourtney with helping him overcome his fear of flying, posting a photo of the couple in front of Kylie Jenner’s private jet, writing “With you anything is possible.”

“Even with you,” Kardashian replied to the comments.

The Cape flight was Barker’s first since the South Carolina crash that claimed the lives of two pilots, rocker assistant Chris Baker and security guard Charles “Che” Still.

Barker and his friend Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein survived, but both faced the consequences of the trauma. DJ AM died of a drug overdose a year after the crash, while Barker suffered third-degree burns on more than two-thirds of his body and spent months in hospital undergoing 16 surgeries.

Earlier this year, Barker opened up to Men’s Health about how to treat his PTSD and the guilt of the survivor, in which he worked with months of therapy.

“It was dark,” he says. “I could not walk down the street. If I saw a plane [in the sky]”I was determined that I was going to fail and I didn’t want to see it.”

“It gets better the further I go,” he added. “The closer I was to it, I felt like I was closer to the bad things than the good things.”
