Checo Pérez will start seventh in the Belgian GP

A difficult qualification for the weather but Czech managed to pass to the last cut and place seventh

Checo Pérez managed to place in fourth place in the round with a time of 1: 59.334 and surprisingly George Russell reached the fifth position above Valtteri Bottas.

In the second round he lived nervously due to the weather conditions and the stopwatch that played against the Mercedes drivers, as less than a minute and a half both were out of the qualifying zone. However, conditions improved and they were able to not only advance, but be close to earning first place, which was occupied by Lando Norris with a time of 1: 58.301. Hamilton closed with 1: 59.301 and Bottas with 1: 59.870.

In the second session Verstappen finished in fifth and the tapatío pilot finished in seventh place.

The drama came for the third round, as in the first minutes Norris suffered a serious accident looking for his first quick lap in the standings. The McLaren crashed into Eau Rouge and turned to Raidillon. This caused the red flags to go out, while Lando went to the medical services.

After almost 40 minutes the activities resumed with almost 10 minutes on the clock.

Checo Pérez finished his classification a minute earlier than the rest and, until then, was in second place, but was losing positions according to the rest was turning and the track was improving.

In the end Pérez will have to let go from the fourth row next to Esteban Ocon. The Mexican clocked a time of 2: 02.112. In fourth place will be Daniel Ricciardo, fifth Sebastian Vettel and sixth Pierre Gasly.
