LeBron James has always been a connoisseur of all things hip-hop and has sometimes described himself as a historian of the genre. Whenever a new album or song comes out, you can be sure that LeBron will post it on his Instagram story and is more than likely to nod his head towards the track. I mean, how can you forget about LeBron’s famous video of drinking a wine while zooming in on his face while Future’s “I’m so Fantastic” explodes in the background.

Needless to say, LeBron appreciates music, and when great artists come together, it’s almost a guarantee he’ll say something about it. Well, that’s exactly what happened over the weekend when LeBron marveled at Baby Keem and Kendrick Lamar’s latest effort called “Family Ties”.

In the Instagram story captured below, LeBron threw the new song in his car and wrote “K.DOT ON HIS BULLY SHIIIIIIIIISSSSHHH & I LOVE IT! OH AND THIS @KEEM TRACK IS INSANO.” Needless to say, LeBron was a big fan of the song which contains impressive and aggressive streams from both artists, as well as a change of drug rhythm that surprised listeners.

“Family Ties” has been the theme of the hip-hop world for the past 24 hours, and it makes sense when you consider how the new era of Kendrick Lamar begins. The veteran artist looked amazing on the track and fans can’t wait for a new record. Hopefully, this project will come sooner rather than later.
