There is a new and mysterious problem with Xbox One consoles that offer gamers the “black screen of death.” At first, the brick problem of the console seemed to be limited to Xbox Insiders, a special participation program in which only a fraction of Xbox users are enrolled. Still, it seems that while many of the consoles that go into this error are Xbox Insiders consoles, the wider Xbox audience is also affected by the problem, which of course suggests that Microsoft may have a bigger problem. in his hands, though nothing like the famous “red ring of death.”
At the time of publication, it is not clear what the prevalence of the problem is, what is causing it, or whether there is a definitive solution. At this time, a large number of Xbox users have reported the issue on an ongoing basis Twitter, but Microsoft has not yet fixed the issue. After the new Xbox update, my machine got stuck with the “black screen of death.” I’ve already tried a couple of methods, but so far I can’t get it to go into the troubleshooting menu to reset the console to the factory. What will you do? @Xbox @XboxSupport @Microsoft
