Baltimore Ravens rider JK Dobbins is undergoing an MRI due to a left knee injury he suffered on Saturday night, but the hope is that the injury will end his season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter was told .
Dobbins was ruled out for the remainder of the Ravens ’37-3 loss to Washington on Saturday night after suffering an injury on the first outing.
Selected in the second round of 2020, Dobbins entered his first season as the star of Baltimore. Last season, Dobbins was instrumental in the Ravens ’final push of the season to reach the playoffs, winning 425 yards (eighth in the NFL) and scoring six touchdowns in the last five games of the regular season.
Last year, Dobbins averaged 6.0 yards per carry, the second-highest average for a rookie who has come back in the last 20 seasons, according to ESPN Stats & Information research. Only Saints Alvin Kamara (6.1) had a higher average as a rookie.
