Twitter views of a wireless iPhone appear in the Apple TV + comedy “Ted Lasso,” but they’re more likely to be editing mistakes than placing products for an unannounced model.
The hugely popular “Ted Lasso” remains one of the high points of Apple’s streaming service, but the latest episode is based on controversy. on Twitter. Episode 6 of the second season, known as “The Signal,” has apparently included a headless iPhone.
At two different points in the episode, the iPhones are visible on the screen with the usual interface, but without the slot at the top of the screen.
While Apple may be considered a way to promote its own products by the main characters in the series that use iPhones, it is highly unlikely that Apple will break its veil of secrecy to bring about an unprecedented model before the update of the product line expected in September.
Given the need to control what is displayed on the iPhone screen, as well as to make it so clear to viewers, the lack of a notch is much more likely to be a post-production editing error. In the foreground of an iPhone, it is obvious that a digital overlay is used.
Apple is expected to use a smaller notch on the iPhone 13 instead of removing it completely.
