A beloved action game that has previously appeared on PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms is finally aimed at Nintendo Switch. Specifically, this game is the original Dying light, from developer Techland. And while the next sequel, Dying light 2, apparently, will not head to Switch soon, the arrival of the original game on the platform is something that fans have been asking for quite some time.
Techland confirmed the release of Dying light on Nintendo Switch in recent days on its official Twitter account associated with the game. Specifically, the study revealed this Platinum Edition Dying Light is the version that would go to Switch. In particular, this iteration of the game contains all the added pieces of DLC and expansion content that were released after the initial release of Dying light until 2014. Basically, if you haven’t played the title before, this iteration will provide you with everything you might be looking for.

While Dying light where Switch will be sold digitally, Techland is also releasing a special physical version of the game that may be of interest to collectors. This physical iteration will appear in a single box containing the game itself, a large map, a “survival guide” that includes a series of game call returns and stickers associated with the title.
At this time, it is unknown when Dying light will come specifically to Nintendo Switch. A previous leak that occurred in October will be the window in which the game will arrive, but Techland has not yet publicly confirmed it. Whenever a more specific release date is given, we’ll be sure to update it here on ComicBook.com.
