Sharon Stone is mourning the loss of her eleven-month-old nephew River after she tragically died of total organ failure this Monday.
Stone, 63, posted a heartbreaking video of Little River on her Instagram to honor her memory.
“River William Stone, September 8, 2020 – August 30, 2021,” the post headlined Monday.
The little one all looked smiling and laughing at the video as he wore a diaper and a beautiful floral printed shirt. Eric Clapton’s song, “Tears In Heaven,” written about the death of his own son, was the soundtrack to the short clip.
People quickly went to the comments section to show their support while the actress lamented the loss of her nephew.
“Sharon condolences. Praying for you and your family, ”one person wrote.
“I’m sorry for your loss,” someone commented in the post.
“A broken heart for all of you,” another person added.
“I am just sorry, Sharon. Sending you love, ”one fan said.
Stone first shared the painful news that River was hospitalized after suffering a total organ failure last week.
“My nephew and godson River Stone was found in his crib today with a total organ failure,” the then “Basic Instinct” actress shared, along with a photo of River in the hospital connected to a machine.
“Please pray for him. We need a miracle, ”he added.
River, born in September 2020, is the son of Stone’s brother, Patrick.
The stone was most recently seen in Venice for a Dolce & Gabbana photo shoot. It is unclear if he will go home to be with the family at this difficult time. Page six has contacted your representative to comment.
