Gulfport Police Identify Man Who Interrupted National News Coverage After Ida Consequences

GULFPORT, Mississippi (WLOX) – The Gulfport Police Department has identified the man who interrupted a reporter’s live report Monday morning.

MSNBC reporter Shaquille Brewster was reporting live from Gulfport when a man took a white Ford F150. The man addressed Brewster during the live report and interrupted him. The man was seen getting in Brewster’s face before the live report was cut and the video returned to the studio.

The suspect is described as having brown hair, a white shirt, dark pants and sunglasses around his neck. The truck is described as having a label in Ohio.

Police said the suspect was identified around 4:30 p.m. Monday.
