SEATTLE (KABC): Standing around the luggage carousel at the airport waiting for your luggage is usually quite messy.
Except when that happens.
The TSA released a video of a pile in the form of a suitcase of raw thighs and chicken wings circulating through a luggage carousel.
It is not clear exactly how it happened. But the TSA assumes the raw chicken parts were probably in a square-shaped refrigerator before they decided to go into free distribution.
The agency notes that it is okay to pack raw chicken in checked baggage, but make sure the container is safe.
“Don’t do the travel package,” the agency wrote. “To avoid wrapping any feathers, the meat should be well packaged. Ice or dry ice is allowed to keep the herd refrigerated.”
