Looking at the list of 53 men from the Los Angeles Rams, there is no shortage of leaders on this team. This is evident in his options for this year’s captains, of whom there are eight.
The Rams announced the eight captains on social media Wednesday night, and while there were some obvious options, there are also three first-team captains in Los Angeles. The captains are as follows:
- P Johnny Hekker
- S Jordan Fuller
- WR Cooper Kupp
- QB Matthew Stafford
- OL Andrew Whitworth
- WR Robert Woods
- CB Jalen Ramsey
- DL Aaron Donald

Ramsey and Fuller are freshmen, as is Stafford with the Rams. Stafford was previously captain with the Lions, but this is his first season in Los Angeles and it is not surprising that he was elected captain.
Hekker, Donald, Kupp, Whitworth and Woods have been captains with the Rams before.
This is a somewhat balanced division between each phase of the team, with four on offense, three on defense and one on special teams.
