Benet’s cruel character is seen mocking and torturing a widow played by Kirsten while running a ranch in 1925 in Montana alongside her brother George, played by Dunst’s real-life husband Jesse Plemons.
Western drama is the film adaptation of Thomas Savage’s 1967 novel and sees Benedict, 45, starring cowboy Phil Burbank.

This is the first time filmmaker Jane Campion has directed a feature film since Bright Star 12 years ago.
And critics expect the film to get a strong boost from the awards season, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Cumberbatch’s performance has already earned him the TIFF Tribute Actor Award at the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival, which won’t be until next month.
The Power Of The Dog will be released in theaters on November 17, 2021 and will air on Netflix on December 1.
