Costco is once again placing purchase limits on certain items amid an increase in COVID

Costco is once again placing purchase limits on selected items amid rising COVID-19 cases.

In the COVID updates section of its website, which was updated last Saturday, Costco said that “some stores may have time limits for items in certain items.”

Although the company did not specify which products would be limited, if you order paper towels through its website, under the product details, it says “limit 1 per member.”

Costco has a “limit of 2 per member” below the product details when purchasing toilet paper on its website.

The temporary limitation of products occurs as cases of delta variants continue to grow in the United States, which has reportedly caused Americans to panic again by buying toilet paper, as they did at the beginning of the pandemic, according to USA Today and the Wall Street Journal.
