Everything is happening. We’re just hours away from the release of Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy”.
The anticipation for the rapper’s sixth studio album is different from anything we’ve seen since, well, Kanye West released “Donda” last week.
Unless you’ve lived under a rock or have a weird ability to tune into monkfish, you’ll probably know that the proximity of release dates between West’s 10th studio album and Drake’s latest project have served as a point of more recent pain in a dispute, er – old feud.
While we’re waiting to see if Drake responds with his own lyrical designs (apparently referring to Drizzy in the songs “Ok Ok” and “Pure Souls”), we’re in good company.
Some NBA stars you might know are also looking forward to the arrival of CLB.

If the screenshot of Drake’s posting of LeBron James ’Instagram story wasn’t proof enough, King James came with an owl (Drake’s OVO symbol) to the power of six (an ode to his hometown of rapper in Toronto and his sixth studio album) for good measure.

James’ show of support echoed that of Kevin For an hour earlier when he released a series of tweets alluding to the launch of the CLB:

It’s worth noting that while the aforementioned tweets would hint at Drake’s full support in the ongoing rap contest, KD also shared lyrics from Kanye’s album on Wednesday.

The haters will call him a cupcake, but we’ll just say he’s diplomatic.
After all, who says you can’t represent Nike and Adidas? Narrator: Everyone.
